. we in michigan have to decide in november whether to allow the state to come in to the city and as a public use to take over and print the financial manager were emergency manager for the cities that have financed the distress and take over the local government where they can come in and remove the city officials like the mayor and the city council. i don't think that's the the presidential candidate mitt romney had in mind when he wanted to say states have rights. what about the city's rights to elect their own elected officials? and help do they own? when you say government interference, i understand you were talking about the federal government, but i heard mitt romney say that states' rights, is it the rights of the state's coming into the cities to overthrow the local municipalities? if that's a big government, small government, i don't know, is it controlled government? i think they have a right to control their own destiny in their own city. so the public is on the ballot in november, and i am turning everybody in michigan to vote down. we don't need dictatorship. it

and literally stopped all of the city of san francisco here off market street. you could call it the just take position of fairly peaceful cyclist think they are peaceful and making a peaceful movement but extremely disruptive and ter creating very angry from us stated drivers on an strrdly busy friday night on the san francisco streets. let's get you to the video we have been shooting all night. we started with cyclist at embarcadero and folsom just before 7 tonight. critical mass cyclist baby and family. the whole -- no audio] people moving at the end of week. the man had tried given up getting home. he pulled the phone out and took video. we have more video about 20 minutes later we got a mile and a half up the row he had to zero magnet and o'farrell whether it was a complete standstill but i stress 20 minutes for us was actually fast. we were following the cyclist with the police escorting them so we got to whiz right through all of this cars at stand still throughout the city on market street. tens of thousands of cyclist made their way toward union square and as you can see thousa

the hottest of the whole heat wave. we'll stay just about as hot in some cities tomorrow. mostly talking about the inner east bay valleys so temperatures are going to be very hot out in livermore, danville, pleasanton, fairfield. this morning we are starting out nice and mild. 59 in livermore. kind of cool up in santa rosa, 51 degrees here and 54 in novato. however, temperatures are going to soar, jumping by about 40 degrees in santa rosa before all is said and done today. the reason why, we have this really strong ridge of high pressure. winds are pumping from land to sea and that's a warming trend. they actually warm up and dry out as they pump back to the pacific ocean, so for us today because we're starting out so mild, high pressure is just about as strong as it was yesterday, we are talking about the hottest day. 103 degrees in places like livermore. we also have poor air quality, which means if you don't have an air conditioner in your home and want to open up those windows, right now is the time to do it. close your blinds before you leave and that will help keep your house a little co

are hot. >> correct i went to daly city. and yesterday i was thinking upper 50s but it reached 86 degrees. everybody was in the same boat. however, let us take a look the weather headlines. it is a clear start to the morning. with cloud coverage along the coast. at other than that, a warmer start with the '60s and '70s as we fourth go towards this afternoon sunny and warm. in fact it depends on when the sea breeze will kick on if it gets later. there could be eight other beach day with mid-70s for some of the coast areas around the bay. off certainly, after that fog dissipates 60s. and a 77 degrees in antioch. '70s in daly city. it is a relatively warm start. still contending from that yesterday's heat. the upper 50s in vallejo mid-60s in downtown san francisco. the futurecast showing by lunch, cooler than yesterday. with the '70s and '80s. as we go for this afternoon just a few areas are in the '90s. livermore, concord and places like morgan hill. you see pleasanton, 90 degrees. expect temperatures to be about 10 degrees cooler compared to what we saw yesterday but another gorgeous day.
